Planning and Coordination Meeting on World Environment Day 2026

Overview:

Ahead of World Environment Day 2026, to be observed on 5 June, Global Peace Chain Bangladesh organised a special planning and coordination meeting to discuss awareness activities, environmental protection initiatives, and ways to increase volunteer engagement. The main objective of the meetup was to make future peace and environment-related initiatives more effective and to strengthen the organisation’s activities through new ideas, planning, and active participation.

Objectives:

• Planning for the celebration of World Environment Day
• Identifying possible initiatives for environmental protection
• Increasing the active participation of Peace Ambassadors and volunteers
• Collecting ideas for new campaigns, online and offline activities
• Developing a roadmap for future organisational activities
